Tuition built around your child, not the curriculum

Children with SEND, learning differences or emotional barriers to learning don't need more of the same — they need teaching that starts where they are. At Inspired Tuition, every session is designed around your child's unique profile, strengths and needs.

Our specialist teachers have extensive experience supporting learners with dyslexia, autism, ADHD, dyscalculia, SEMH needs, EBSA and a wide range of other learning differences. We don't apply a one-size-fits-all approach — we take the time to understand your child and build a programme that genuinely works for them.

Sessions are calm, structured and celebratory. We focus on building secure foundations, closing learning gaps and developing the confidence and independence that allows children to thrive — in school and beyond.

What we support

Specialist support across the areas that matter most

Reading and phonics

Structured, systematic phonics and reading support using evidence-based approaches. We identify the root cause of reading difficulties and build from secure foundations.

Writing and handwriting

From letter formation and fine motor skills to sentence construction and extended writing — we support learners who find writing challenging to develop confidence and fluency.

Maths and numeracy

Concrete, visual and structured approaches to maths that build number sense and close gaps. Particularly effective for learners with dyscalculia or maths anxiety.

Learning confidence and SEMH

For children whose anxiety, low self-esteem or emotional needs are getting in the way of learning. We create a safe, supportive space where children feel seen and capable.

EBSA and school avoidance

Gentle, flexible support for learners experiencing Emotionally Based School Avoidance. We work at your child's pace, building trust and re-engaging them with learning.

GCSE English with SEND support

Specialist GCSE English tuition with full awareness of SEND needs — including access arrangements, exam anxiety and neurodiverse learning styles.

The Inspired Foundations approach

Our three-stage framework underpins every SEND programme we deliver — personalised, structured and always celebratory.

01
Assess

Understand your child fully

We begin with a thorough diagnostic assessment to understand your child's strengths, learning profile, gaps and barriers. This isn't just about what they can and can't do — it's about understanding how they learn, what motivates them, and what gets in the way.

02
Build

Targeted, neuroaffirming teaching

Every session is carefully planned around your child's individual needs. We use structured, evidence-informed approaches that are adapted to their learning style — building secure foundations systematically, one step at a time, with regular feedback and progress tracking.

03
Celebrate

Recognise every step forward

Progress looks different for every child — and we celebrate all of it. We keep parents informed and involved, share regular updates, and make sure your child knows how far they've come. When children feel seen and celebrated, they begin to believe in themselves.
